Travelski Express transfers: Bourg St Maurice - La Plagne

If you are booking a ski-train package on the Travelski Express, a shared transfer is included as part of the package. Travelski Express staff will meet you at the station and show you to your transfer vehicle, which will take you directly to your accommodation.  For the return journey, the same will happen, in reverse, with transfers from you accommodation to the station. Bus transfers - Aime la Plagne station - La Plagne

Aime station

Buses depart from a bay right outside Aime station. You walk out of Aime station and the buses are right there.  Aime station has a big hall and waiting room, so you can wait in the warm.

There is also a little cafe in the station to buy hot drinks and snacks. Apart from that, there is isn't a great deal to do but the village of Aime is a few minutes walk away. 

You can buy bus tickets at a counter at the train station, but it is recommended to buy them in advance online at www.altibus.com which shows timetable information too.
 

Returning via Aime or Bourg St Maurice stations

Bourg St Maurice station

If you are taking the direct Eurostar Ski Train back to the UK, you'll need to take it from Bourg St Maurice station, not Aime station. This is because the direct Eurostar Ski Train doesn't stop at Aime station on its return to London, only Bourg St Maurice and Moutiers, due to needing to have passport and security facilities set up. Bourg St Maurice station is nearer to La Plagne than Moutiers, and it has more facilities there too.

Other trains, such as a TGV or a Corail Lunea sleeper, all stop at Aime (because you don't need to go through security on these domestic trains).

Restaurants at Bourg St Maurice

Bourg St Maurice station has a waiting room, ticket hall where you can buy tickets for buses if you haven't pre-booked.

There's a small shop (open from about 6am) that sells newspapers, magazines and croissants and sandwiches.

The bus station is located right outside the railway station, as is the taxi rank. So you can wait for your transfer bus in the station waiting room or ticket hall.

Just a few metres from the station there are plenty of restaurants, so if you want to have breakfast, lunch or dinner before catching your train then you have lots of decent options.
