Indirect journeys go on sale Tuesday 6th November
Tickets for indirect journeys to the Alps, between 8th January and 10th March 2019, will go on sale on Tuesday 6th November. SNCF says that the trains will go on sale ‘very early in the morning’ but can’t - or won’t - specify an exact time.
If you are wondering about the best way to book, I’d say that for online booking, the best websites are www.loco2.com and www.thetrainline.com. To book journeys to the French Alps by phone, it’s probably easiest to phone Eurostar on 03432 186 186. However, Eurostar can’t book every train option or destination - but they can for some of them.
There are also rail-booking experts, such as Ffestiniog Travel and Canterbury Rail, who are very knowledgeable and can book any kind of journey for you. You can find out more about these in our guide to how to book train travel to ski resorts.
