Waiting for the Eurostar Ski Train

You might have heard the news that Eurostar has cancelled its excellent South of France services to Lyon, Avignon and Marseille, for summer 2020 and summer 2021 too. (Cancelling services for summer 2021 seems a baffling decision, taken so far in advance - leaving many travellers hugely disappointed)

In light of that news, I’ve had some emails from skiers concerned as to whether the Eurostar Ski Train will run this winter. So, to be sure (to be sure), I put this question to Eurostar, and a Eurostar spokesperson told today:

"The Ski Train would normally go on sale mid-late July and I am not aware of any change to that plan. As in any year we’ll send a press release out when the ski train goes on sale."

Well, in the sense that ‘no news is good news’, that’s good news.  But we'd much rather hear some actual

Normally, Eurostar announces the actual date of that tickets will go on sale about one week in advance, keeping skiers in suspense until then.  We’ll let you know, as soon as we know, of course, via the Snowcarbon newsletter. You can sign up to the newsletter at the bottom of any page on the Snowcarbon website.
