No bus to meet Ski Train at Bourg - really?
It's crazy, but unfortunately true.
For skiers travelling by on the daytime Eurostar Ski Train to Bourg St Maurice, there are no connecting buses to the resorts of La Rosiere, Sainte Foy, Tignes or Val d'Isere. The Ski Train arrives every saturday at 18:50. And guess what time the bus for those resorts leaves? 18:40 - ten minutes earlier. Yes really. It's just bonkers.
Apparently, there is a rationale, which I'll write more about later.
For now, here is the bus schedule - as you can see, save for a few dates, there is no bus. And even on the dates when there is, you have to wait an hour - hardly ideal.
