Indirect journeys go on sale Thursday 11th October

A snowy winter draws ever nearer.

OUI.sncf puts it's TGV trains on sale on Thursday 11th October.  That means that from that date, you can book travel for dates from 9th December 2019 up until 7th January 2019, travelling by Eurostar + TGV from the UK.

Trains go on sale early in the morning, although what exact time that is, OUI.sncf are still unable to say. (I mean, why would a train company plan these things more than three days in advance...?)

What kind of prices can you expect for these journeys? Well, if your holiday is at Xmas or New Year, I'd expect you to pay around £225 - £350 return per adult from London to the Alps.  If your journey is on an offpeak date, then probably £120 - £150 return per adult. 

Children aged 4-11 get about 30% off these prices.
