At this time of year, you might be planning a ski holiday but wondering how much a journey will cost.

Although tickets aren’t on sale yet, it’s possible to predict with some approximate accuracy, if that isn’t an oxymoron, how much a journey will cost.

That’s because I spend a lot of time each year looking at how much journeys cost, and can base my guestimates on experience.

I’ve compiled a simple table below, which you might find useful, for journeys to a range of destinations.

These prices are based on booking within a couple of weeks of trains going on sale.   One exception is the daytime Eurostar Ski Train for February half term, which sells out very quickly (normally within four hours of going on sale).

There are also ski packages with rail-travel included that you can book already - so you don’t have to necessarily wait for train to go on sale to get everything sorted.

If you are at the stage of planning where to go, where to stay and how to get there, do feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to help advise.  Or if you have a question on any aspect of anything, do feel free to contact me and ask.

Prices below are for adults. Children aged 4-11 will be about 30% less.
