Changing in Paris with a pre-booked taxi

Thu 20 December, 2012

For many journeys to ski resorts by train, you need to change station in Paris.

We often hear people say:  "We'd love to travel by train, but isn't the change in Paris difficult?"

Well it is, and it isn't. We've created a whole section about changing in Paris to show you how to do it simply and easily.

And the good news is that it just got easier, because we've discovered a new, British company, offering a pre-booked taxi service that greets you at the end of the train platform with a namecard and takes you across to your station.

It costs more than using the taxi rank (also quite easy) but having a dedicated driver waiting for you is certainly a service that makes things easy. An eight seater vehicle costs 65 euros for the whole vehicle.

You can find out about this on our How to change in Paris section.
