Bookings open for mid-Jan - mid March
Indirect journeys have gone on sale this morning, for travel between January 13th and March 12th 2018.
I got up at 05:45am to see what kind of prices I could find.
From London to Bourg St Maurice, return, by Eurostar and TGV, was £180 for February half term.
At first I thought I must be dreaming. It's a cheaper price than I've ever seen on sale for Feb half term.
I thought that the price wouldn't last, and was only that cheap because it was so early in the morning that few people had started booking.
Yet at 08:30, as I write, the journey is still on sale for that price, as you can see from the screenshot below.
The thing that is bonkers is that there are other dates where tickets are already more expensive than that, for the same journey.
It just shows how unpredictable the whole ticket-booking thing can be.
